I Told My Mind to Spin… And It Did
π§♂️ Day 24 – The Mind-Spinning Meditation That Blew My Mind
Hello and welcome to my meditation journey—it’s officially Day 24 π️
Without wasting any time, let’s jump straight into today’s meditation review. But first, a quick update on my July Challenge π’
This month hasn’t gone exactly how I planned. Unexpected disruptions hit me like surprise guests at a silent retreat π — a family vacation, the difficulty of reviving meditation after a long gap, and of course, my old frenemy: procrastination π
So what’s the plan for the July Challenge now that half the month has already passed?
Well... it’s simple. I’m going to shift the core challenge to August π
But for July, I’m not backing off completely — I’ve decided to continue the meditation journey every single day. Why? Because I realized something powerful: If this challenge gives me results, then it deserves to become a lifestyle. A habit. A part of me. π±
You see, this challenge is like the universe itself — vast, endless, and full of surprises. There's no end to it, and every single day feels like a new exploration πͺ
Now grab your attention! π
So, where should I begin?
There’s one major insight I’ve gained from this journey so far:
Nothing is impossible π
And today — yes, today — I can call it my perfect meditation session so far.
You might be thinking: “Why call it perfect if you’ve been dealing with issues like sleepiness, pain, restlessness, and distractions almost every day?”
Well, here’s why π
Today was different. Today, my posture was straight and solid. It felt like I had “locked” into it — like I could have stayed in that pose for hours, even years, without struggle. πͺ΅
Then came my breath — slow, shallow, effortless. Not deep. Not long. Just there. π«
And then... the presence hit me. Not like a knock. More like a quiet, vivid dream.
You know those dreams you remember so clearly when you wake up? But if you don’t write them down, you forget them later? That’s how it felt. I was there. Present. Aware. Silent. Still.
It was as if all my systems — senses, respiration, even my nervous system — were gradually shutting down. And that’s when I realized... this is a key marker of good meditation π‘
And the most mind-blowing part? π€―
After around 15–20 minutes, I felt like I had dropped into the subconscious mind. Normally, it’s a place you dip into briefly. But today, I stayed there — longer than ever before.
My body felt frozen, like a statue. But my mind was alive, spinning with energy. I literally felt the sensation of spinning, like when you twirl around on the same spot and feel dizzy — except this time, my body wasn't moving. Only my mind was. Like I commanded my inner self to spin... and it obeyed.
π That’s when I thought — can we actually experience this kind of thing in the "real" world? I mean, I’m sitting still, breathing, and yet feeling movement without motion. This is not fiction — this is real inner experience.
Every time I reach near-perfect meditation, I experience something new. Something I can’t explain. And I’m starting to feel addicted to it — in the best way possible ❤️π₯
This is my first real challenge, and it's giving me something precious. I truly feel lucky to have started this journey. Because now I realize...
Meditation is a universe — and wherever you explore, you find something new. π
And just to be clear: I’m only doing basic breath meditation using a simple app. It just sets a timer and tells me when to inhale and exhale. That’s it.
No mantras.
No fancy rituals.
No focus on chakras or visualizations.
Just pure breath awareness. And yet — the results? Outstanding. π¬️
Nobody tells you this kind of thing is even possible at the beginner stage. But here I am, experiencing it, living it — and now, sharing it with you.
So that’s all for today, my friend π
I’ll see you tomorrow with more insights and stories from this cosmic inner journey.
Peace out π️
