When Time Froze in Silence: Day 27 of Meditation

πŸŒ€ Meditation Day 27 – When Time Froze

Hello and welcome back to my world — it’s officially Day 27 of my meditation journey, and yes, the path still continues with fresh layers of experience. So without wasting any more time, let’s dive into today’s meditation review.

In a few words: it was better than yesterday. But if I try to stretch that sentence into something real and meaningful — viola! I experienced something entirely new today.

Since it’s a Sunday, my routine was slightly different, a bit slower to begin with but kicked off on a positive note. Now let’s talk about sleep — I tried a trick recently to improve my sleep quality, and I’d say it worked about 50%. Not fully there, but enough to wake up without puffiness, grogginess, or body ache. That itself felt like a win. And because of that better sleep, I think something special happened during meditation.

After about 10-15 minutes into the session, something started to shift. And here’s where I want to say something important: people often talk about "just 2 minutes of meditation" being enough, but let’s be honest — to reach that depth, you have to sit with it longer. You need those 10-15 minutes just to settle your mind before you even enter the zone. Those quick hacks might work for some, but for me, this deeper preparation is where the magic happens.

And today, magic did happen.

At one point, I slipped into what I can only describe as “flow.” You know that moment when thoughts are gently floating, like a silent conversation with your inner voice? It felt like that. And as I sank deeper, something even more wild occurred — my breath slowed way down, almost to zero. I was inhaling and exhaling at maybe 1% of my normal breath, so shallow, yet it felt natural. Simultaneously, my body began to feel numb, heavy, stiff — like a stone. Pain started in the lower half of my body, but I just let it be.

And then — the new experience.

I’m calling it “Time Frozen”. Imagine the world around you just… stops. The outside noises that were buzzing a second ago suddenly disappear. You enter a void where everything feels still — no time, no sound, no movement. Just pure being.

The funny thing is, I didn’t even realize I had entered that space until I consciously noticed it. That’s how deep I was in the moment. It lasted only for a few minutes, but those minutes were golden, better than all the previous days combined.

So yes, today was something else. The sleep trick? It’s working — at least partially — and I’ll definitely share it once I confirm it’s 100% effective.

Until then, peace out,
– S
